Others may be encouraging you to extend yourself in ways that make you uncomfortable. Usually you are the one who's up for most anything, but now you might feel concerned that you're getting in over your head. Don't worry too much about the negative possibilities. Lighten up; clear sailing ahead is indicated.

Let your innate intelligence and insight be your guide, especially when it comes to relationships. For the next couple days, you're able to see beneath the surface to what's occurring on a deeper level -- giving you a kind of sixth sense when it comes to interpersonal interactions. With this kind of abstract thinking, you can expand your mind and solidify your bonds with others. It's quite an opportunity -- grab it.

Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

You are inspired today to surprise your partner or a friend. Forget all the stuff about you Tauruses being interested in maintaining the status quo. You are ready to shake things up and it feels exhilarating. Go ahead and take a risk. Express a part of yourself that you normally keep secret. It will feel cathartic and also can have a positive impact on someone else.

It's often difficult for you Geminis to slow down long enough to see big plans through to their completion. If you started a project over the summer, it may have turned into more than you expected. Now it's time for you to get closure on whatever you began back then. Stick with your original goals for another few days and then reevaluate your recent progress.

If you're focused on having some more fun, who are the stars to stand in your way? If anyone has the energy to keep going (and going, and going), it's got to be you. You can always sleep later, right? Well, just don't go too full bore. There's more fun to be had right around the corner, and it'd be a pity to end up with the sniffles because you haven't gotten enough rest or been eating right.

Expect lots of motion in your world right now -- backward, forward, lateral, even exciting yo-yo type maneuvers. While it can be a bit chaotic, you're just the type who thrives amid chaos, converting it into fun and opportunities to shine. Watch for a 'chance' meeting that can lead to a very intriguing discussion that, in turn, can lead to generating some great ideas. Make some notes so you don't forget!

You're likely to be quite talkative now, but it's important to be careful of what you say. There may be someone standing by ready to judge any mistake you make, which could adversely impact your credibility. If you must make a serious presentation today, make certain you brush up on your facts first.

deep blue something - breakfast at tiffany's

Ingredients:
1/2 cup unpopped popcorn
3 tablespoons melted butter
Popcorn salt or table salt, to taste
1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese or other cheese sprinkle (optional)
Microwave oven with carousel (important for even popping)
Small paper bag (standard lunch bag is fine)
Standard office stapler (see note)
Large mixing bowl

Directions:

Pour the popcorn in the paper bag and fold the top of the bag over twice to close. (Each fold should be 1/2 inch deep; the kernels need room to pop.) Seal the bag with two staples (no more, no less), making sure to place the staples at least 2 to 3 inches apart.

Put the bag in the microwave and cook on high power for 2 to 3 minutes, or until the pops are 5 seconds apart.

Remove the bag from the oven and open it carefully, avoiding the steam. Pour the popcorn into a bowl and drizzle it with butter, then toss with salt and cheese, if desired.

Aproximately 3500 Words of combined Dialog and descriptive text. You can describe characters as a part of the dialog, of course, but in a module, you usually want to have a text description on each character and plot relevant object, in case the player examines them, and perhaps a message that appears upon your entry to the scene itself.

No more than four characters (With a clear main character, (the player) at least in terms of perspective and narrative focus. You can decide how or why the player is involved in the scene, but you should keep their skills and abilities purposefully vague. You can also describe them specifically for sake of the writing exercise.)

A single "location" (In Bioware terms, a single level of a house, a cave, a forest clearing, the ruins of a stone fortress... You can have walls or doors, but no huge spaces and no entirely separate areas)

Present a scene, conflict, or short story that immediately grabs the player/reader's interest and gets them involved.

some of my duties at work:

* i check the voicemail, pass on any messages that need to be passed on, return patient calls, look into patient questions

* i check the voicemail for the automated billing system

* all returned mail gets handled by me. i update patient accounts with the new addresses, or mark them as BAD ADDRESS.

* i post insurance payments for 2 doctor's offices. that means that when an insurance company sends a big check and an explanation, i mark in each account how much the insurance company paid, how much the doctor wrote off, and how much the patient owes.

* i handle appeals for 3 doctor's offices. that means if insurance denies a patient's claim for no good reason, i send in paperwork and documentation to try and convince them to pay. each insurance company has different requirements.

* i also handle aging accounts. that means that that i get a report of accounts in an office that have a non-zero balance, and then i have to go through all of them and figure out why. if the balance is out to the patient, if it is out to the insurance company, or if there is a negative balance. if the balance has been sitting out to an insurance company for more than 3 weeks, i need to check with the insurance company and find out the status of the claim.

Forsaking dark practices,
the wise person
should develop the bright,
having gone from home
to no-home
in seclusion, so hard to enjoy.
There he should wish for delight,
discarding sensuality--
he who has nothing.
He should cleanse himself--wise--
of what defiles the mind.

Where there is great hatred, are the fetters of hell.
Where there is great avarice, are the fetters of the tortured spirits.
Where there is great ignorance, are the fetters of the beasts.
Where there is great lust, are the fetters of man.
Where there is great envy, are the fetters of the demigods.
Where there is great pride, are the fetters of the gods.
These are the six fetters of non-liberation.

You may be torn between dreaming about the possibilities before you and needing to deal with the immediate details of your job. On one hand, your fantasies are extremely important to your well-being now. They widen your thinking and show you previously unknown potential. Yet, if you don't stay focused, little problems will quickly get out of hand. It's better to deal with the real world today than to drift away with your imagination.

That restless feeling you sometimes get is back, and it's making your feet itchy for a little movement. It doesn't even have to be movement of the upward kind; a little lateral motion can work just as effectively. Look for a different project at work -- maybe you can trade responsibilities with someone -- or switch the furniture around at home, or play hooky and take the train out of town in a random direction. Or do all three!
